Job description
We have two positions available. 31.5 hours per week and 21 hour per week. Night Shift pattern: 21:00 to 07:30.
£19.35 per hour up to £21.35 per hour.
A night enhancement of £1.50 per hour will apply from 8pm to 7am Monday – Sunday (this does not apply to sleep-ins). A weekend day enhancement of £2.00 per hour will be paid from 7am to 8pm, Saturday and Sunday.
Due to lack of public transport to Newlands House, you will need access to transport or you will live in the Netherseal area.
As a Registered Nurse with Leonard Cheshire you’ll be responsible and accountable for providing the highest standards of nursing, clinical and personal support, while promoting independence and choice to our customers. Leading a team of support staff you will ensure the smooth and efficient management of the shift, prioritising, planning and delegating activities for the support team.
You will:
- Be a registered nurse (current registration with NMC).
- Have thorough and up-to-date knowledge of nursing theory and best practice at the level of a qualified nurse (level 5).
- Be able to demonstrate effective nursing practice in all basic registered nurse procedures.
- Work flexibly within rostered hours and on-call rota as required.
