Do you have a passion for delivering high quality health care to people who are experiencing their first episode of psychosis or might be at risk of developing psychosis.
As part of service development we are looking to diversify the skill mix within Psypher with the appointment of a Nursing Associate registered with the NMC.
The role involves working with health and social care colleagues in the delivery of physical and psychological interventions to people aged between 14 and 65.
PSYPHER aims to work with people and families who are distressed by experiences of Psychosis.
As a registered Nursing Associate you will be expected to work independently within the structure of a multi-disciplinary team. You will hold a role as a co-worker alongside nursing and social care colleagues in the administration of medication, monitoring of its effectiveness, and will assess and monitor physical health needs, where necessary implementing clinical interventions and monitoring outcomes. You will work closely with individuals and their families to support their mental health recovery.
As a registered Nursing Associate you will be expected to work independently within the structure of a multi-professional team. You will have the role of co-work alongside nursing and social care colleagues in the administration of medication, review of its effectiveness along with clinical interventions, assessment and monitoring of physical health and health promotion. As part of a multi disciplinary team you will work closely with people to support their mental health recovery.
Primary responsibilities will include working within the team to provide support and to deliver physical and psychological interventions in both community and clinic settings, you will also contribute to the care planning process for patients with complex mental health needs.
