Ophthalmic Nurse

As an Ophthalmic Nurse at The Holly Hospital, you’re registered with the appropriate governing body, plus you bring the qualifications and experience that are relevant to your registration, including NMC. You also have post-registration experience, an active interest in working in Outpatients and a range of eye specialty skills.
As an Ophthalmic Nurse, you will:
- Be responsible for wound care for post-surgery patients
- Carry out ophthalmology pre-tests
- Assist consultants with minor procedures
- Conduct nurse-led pre-operative assessments before ophthalmic surgery
- Support with ophthalmic treatments, including laser surgery
