Job description

An opportunity has arisen for highly-motivated, caring and compassionate individuals to join our band 7 team within the Emergency Department.

We are looking for individuals who have extensive experience in working in an Emergency Department who has excellent clinical and organisational skills and can provide leadership to the nursing team in order to ensure high quality care is delivered to our patients. The successful candidates will be required to take charge of the department on a day-to-day basis and coordinate flow of patients from arrival through to discharge or admission whilst ensuring patient safety and the sustainability of good staff morale. You will manage the department whilst upholding and promoting the Trust Values. Managerially the successful candidate will be expected to manage a team of staff and guide them in their personal and professional development. A proven role within a link group is essential and showing the implementation of change within the service.

We are committed to developing our nursing staff .We also offer access to Emergency Nurse Practitioner (ENP) and Advanced Clinical Practitioner (ACP) programmes. Staff will also have opportunities to complete PILS and APLS resuscitation courses.
