Regional Sales Manager, £50K with uncapped commission and generous benefits

Home/field based covering the North East and North West regions

(Ideally to be living in and around Leeds, or, Halifax area)

Our client is a global leader in public safety, they develop, manufacture, and sell video analytics, network video management software and hardware, surveillance cameras, and access control solutions.

What You’ll Do

  • Create, nurture and respond to sales opportunities and close sales orders
  • Establish quarterly and annual sales.
  • Promote and sell the clients products and services through direct customer contact within the assigned geographic territory.
  • Conduct sales calls, schedule “local” promotional work
  • Oversee and manage the sale of the clients’ products and services within the specified territory.
  • Prepare proposals and quotes for prospective customers
  • Work on key deals to help define and oversee how our products are deployed.
  • Provide first level technical guidance to customers (end-users), integrators and partners.
  • Supervise and manage installations at customer sites and in key accounts
  • Attend tradeshows and professionally participate
  • Participate in the development of training materials.
  • Compile data on competitive products and pricing

What You’ll Need

  • Documented track record of sales performance within a technology environment.
  • Business development skills.
  • Effective and proven negotiation skills
  • Ability to develop and maintain relationships with a C-Level executives.
  • Strong relationship management skills.
  • Strong organisational and analytical skills.
  • Highly effective communication skills (oral, written presentation).
  • Thorough understanding of security sales cycles.
  • Understanding of Commercial accounts, competitive landscape and customer procurement processes.
