Overview
This will be a hands-on, dynamic role for someone with strong procurement skills, the ability to forge good relationships and with the ambition to continuously learn and be challenged. The role will be working within a small, but high performing team, with opportunities to shape the position and develop and grow within the company.
This is a permanent full time position reporting into a Senior Category Manager.
Responsibilities
Responsibilities for this position will include, but are not limited to:
“End to End” Sourcing: identifying new suppliers, negotiating, implementing, managing agreements and suppliers for both key categories and some tactical procurement
- Conduct supplier categorization and segmentation of a decentralized supply base to identify harmonization & rationalization of suppliers across Europe
- Maintain strong sustainable relationships with existing key strategic suppliers and identify new potential partners
- Develop, manage & monitor supplier performance for strategic suppliers in partnership with key stakeholders
- Develop key stakeholder relationships and build procurement’s reputation as a trusted business partner
- Conduct both traditional and e-sourcing activities across the key European countries
- Support the ESDG strategies within procurement, with special focus on supplier diversity
- Develop relationships with global procurement counterparts ensuring alignment with the global procurement strategies
- Drive continuous improvement and cost saving initiatives through the evaluation of the supply chain & procurement
- Drive innovation into the business, uphold company brand and leverage external expertise through external connections and networking
Qualifications
The successful candidate will be able to exhibit the following competencies:
- Experience sourcing, negotiating, implementing and managing small, medium, large and/or complex agreements, priorities and suppliers
- Strong influencing skills
- Enjoys creating impactful presentations with confident presentation delivery skills
- High numeracy and analytical proficiency
- Ability to challenge and suggest improvements and influence outcomes
- High competency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint & Office
Languages
- Required: English
- German, French and Spanish beneficial
Location and Travel
- UK/Egham, Surrey with some scope for hybrid working however office presence required at least 3 days per week
- Must be able to work in the UK and travel to Europe
- In the future, travel around Europe is likely for several days a month to our operations and suppliers

£30-35,000 per annum plus benefits package.
