Job description

Where you’ll spend your time:

Southeast Texas, South Louisiana and South Mississippi. Some office work at the factory in Houston, Texas. We encourage you to be in the field with customers, work from home as needed, and be at the factory as needed for customer visits.


Work Schedule:

The Regional Sales Manager will work M-TH 7AM-4:30PM, F 7AM-11AM. This role requires 50% or more travel. Occasional evening/weekend work may be needed. Let’s be real, this is sales and sales is never “off the clock”. Late afternoon/evening/weekend hours may be required as needed. Work schedules may change to accommodate production needs.

Of course, we didn't forget salary…Frazer offers competitive pay and this role offers a starting salary between $70,000-$80,000, an uncapped commission plan that pays quarterly with total compensation potential of $100k+ depending on experience.

What Does a Week in the Life of the Regional Sales Manager Look Like?

  • Build relationships and promote Frazer solutions by attending trade shows, events, customer dinners, and regularly scheduled customer and prospect visits.
  • Respond to customer inquiries by phone, email, in person, providing technical specifications, pricing, quotes, and other information as needed.
  • Qualify prospect customers to ensure we are a good match for each other.
  • Host in person and remote customer specification review meetings to understand and address customer requirements.
  • Proactively maintain contact with customers and prospects.
  • Accurately maintain information such as sales opportunities, interactions, estimates, order forecasts, customer orders, and more, in Frazer company computer systems, with some assistance from the Sales Operations Team.
  • With support from the Sales Operations Team, accurately configure, price, and quote complex products, such as ambulances, stretchers, and other medical equipment.
  • Attend final inspection and in-service delivery walk-around with customers when their unit is ready for pickup.
  • Follow up with customers after delivery/pickup of a unit to promote ongoing customer satisfaction.

Required Education and Experience:

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 1+ years in a “hunter” type sales role
  • Ability to pass background and motor vehicle record check
  • Reliable form of transportation and vehicle insurance

Preferred Education and Experience:

  • College degree preferred
  • Experience selling to municipal governments
  • Fire/ EMS background
  • Experience using Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems
