What you would do as our Regional Sales Manager - Central and East Midlands area
We are looking for a Sales Manager that will help us grow the sales of Mul-T-Lock products (mechanical, electro-mechanical and electronic) across the central and East Midlands area by developing and implementing effective sales strategies.
Reporting to the Mul-T-Lock Managing Director, you would:
- plan the sales strategy within the territory in agreement with the Managing Director
- ensure the sales strategy implementation to deliver business growth
- manage, develop and motivate select accounts in order to achieve company objectives and strategy
- achieve the sales and profit budgets on a monthly, quarterly and YTD basis
- acquire and develop new customers, primarily locksmiths, architectural ironmongers, OEMs, and wholesalers
- agree and set pricing levels and strategies together with the Managing Director
- ensure a constant flow of new business activity whilst maintaining and developing existing business levels
- actively seek out, approach and nurture new end user contacts and businesses, promoting and presenting our solutions with a view to driving opportunities into our channel partners
- deliver sales and budget forecasts
- monitor and report market trends and competitor activity within the territory
- ensure the platform expansion, including mechanical and electromechanical solutions across the territory is balanced, with a drive towards patented and electromechanical solutions at every realistic opportunity
The skills and experience you need
We are looking for someone who:
- has proven sales experience
- can demonstrate clear knowledge and has experience in a trade and B2B environment
- has experience and knowledge of the central and East Midlands area
Ideally, you know the electronic and mechanical markets, products, players and trends. You are motivated, passionate about building relationships with internal and external customers, and have the drive and determination to meet the company’s objectives.
