The Regional Sales and Events Manager will be developing the current business and event income streams, and forge new ones, using your natural skills as a networker and forging strong relationships with the businesses and local communities in which you work so the ability to adapt to the changing business needs is a must!
Have you got what it takes?
We are looking for an exceptional individual with sales and marketing experience in the hospitality industry. A calm, enthusiastic and confident approach is right up our street as we want you to effectively manage client relationships. This role report to the Head of Sales will oversee the delivery of site-specific proactive sales plans designed to grow pre-booked business within the venues, predominantly across the stag and hen, student and corporate markets through the utilisation of new and existing contacts and third-party relationships and partnerships.
Essential
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word
- Communication skills
- Customer service experience
- Event Management experience
- Proactive sales experience

What the job will include:
- Deliver the businesses’ proactive sales strategy with focus on bringing in large groups and generating repeat custom.
- Manage the full life cycle of an event from 40+, from confirmation through to follow-up where necessary, Developing and maintaining good working relationships with operational managers and your team to support the smooth delivery of bookings into site.
- Collaborate with the venue General Managers to deliver proactive, venue-based initiatives, ensuring the venues have full and timely details of their bookings / events.
- Research, organise, budget for and attend with your team the relevant events, meetings, showcases and venue showarounds.
- Manage your department’s budget in line with the Head of Sales’ expectations providing regular reporting on the department’s financial performance against pre-determined targets and KPIs.
- Ensure all third-party websites and listings are set up and up to date to the highest possible brand standard.
- Actively contribute to the businesses’ prebooked sales success including sales ideas and activity creation.
