We have an exciting opportunity for a Regional Property Project Manager to join us at SG Building Distribution, working across the Midlands you will be asked to Project Manage Construction and fit out projects for all BD brands for both Capital and Maintenance. The Regional Property Project Manager will Report directly to the Head of Development while working with the Continuous Improvement Manager and compliance team, liaising with Category / Space Planning & Marketing to provide brand innovation and development, ensuring the constant look and feel of each brand. Key Responsibilities of a Regional Property Project Manager:

  • Work alongside the Project Management team to deliver same results for each brands so that they maintain the corporate design and feel so each brand (Jewson, Gibbs & Dandy, Minster ) look the same when it could be in Aberdeen, Manchester or London
  • Work as part of the Maintenance/Compliance delivery team, to ensure legal compliance to the premises our premises have to be legally compliant in many areas, asbestos, legionella, fixed wire testing, shutter doors & fire doors, sprinklers, pat testing etc ) in all of the above there’s a legal requirement to maintain, monitor and manage and this is a large part of the works when carrying out projects.
  • Work diligently with Contractors, Suppliers, Manufacturers to ensure best value & practices, working alongside our procurement team in order to obtain best value.
  • Ensure we are legally compliant in all building and fit out matters to ensure building control are satisfied.
  • Comply with all company policies including Principles of Conduct and Action.
  • Ensure all Standards are met including on time delivery
  • Maintain accurate records for Audit purposes (electronic)

What we’re looking for in a Regional Property Manager:

  • NVQ Level 6 in construction management
  • CSCS Black card
  • Ability to manage all aspects of construction fit out projects
  • A clear understanding of the process required to maintain our legal requirements in relation to compliance obligations
  • Manage budgets effectively
