What Winning Looks Like:
The Regional Parts & Service Manager will set and achieve a vision of operating the department at maximum production, building a loyal clientele, maintaining good employee relationships, setting and obtaining sales and profit objectives, and maintaining service records. This position interacts daily with Service Managers, Service Advisors, Technicians, Parts Associates, Parts Managers and other store Associates, just to name a few. The Service Director will report to the General Manager and work with our management team to meet these goals.

- Setting a clear vision and goals for the Service Department to achieve targeted performance.
- Driving a highly efficient sales and production operation to get Customers in an out quickly while ensuring our fix it right the first time brand promise is upheld.
- Engaging and motivating the team to achieve key goals, performance expectations and best practice processes Attracting, developing and retaining the very best talent for the store.
- Creating an exceptional customer experience to drive customer loyalty.
- Ensuring the Service area is retail-ready with proper displays, point-of-purchase information and visible competitive pricing for maintenance products.
- Managing the business in accordance with manufacturer requirements and processes.
- Analyzing the business to determine shortfalls and developing action plans to improve performance.
- Driving the business through a high-level of involvement in the day-to-day operations.
- Target sales and profit, expense management, associate retention, Customer Satisfaction Index
- Coordinate with Inventory Manager to maintain proper inventory levels onsite and on Tech vehicles.
- Hire and supervise all service department personnel, as well as monitor their performance in servicing customers
- Create goals and objectives for the department, which include an annual operating budget, and a marketing plan to promote new business
Skills Needed to Win:
- Five years of experience in an auto repair facility or dealership
- Two years of supervisory experience
- Service and/or Parts Management experience
- Ability to operate the department according to dealership guidelines
- Must have valid in-state driver's license, have and maintain an acceptable, safe driving record and safe driving habits to drive both customer vehicles and a demonstrator vehicle
- Ability to set and achieve targeted goals
- Proven ability to attract, develop and retain great talent
- Strong financial and business acumen and the ability to drive revenue and profitability
- Demonstrated communication and interpersonal skills
- Organization and follow-up skills
- Experience and desire to work with technology
