Hope Unit is a busy mixed sex ward with 12 beds. Horizon is a mixed sex 10 bedded ward which supports longer stay young people, some of which may have a diagnosis of an eating disorder. We are currently seeking to recruit band 3 nursing assistants on a permanent contract to complement the staffing team that is already in place. You will be part of a thriving ward which is committed to providing a high level of quality care to the patients they work with.
Nursing Assistants play a vital role in delivering care to the individuals admitted on to Hope and Horizon Ward. They have the most direct patient contact out of staff on the ward and engage with the patients on a 1-1 basis or in groups. The role of the Nursing Assistant is a broad and varied one. Working amongst a wider team of professionals enables individuals to learn from one another and contribute to providing high levels of care. This role includes working both day and night shifts.
