We are looking for an experienced Regional Partnerships Manager to join our team and lead our expansion in Europe. As the first person on the ground, you will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive business development plan, building relationships with key stakeholders, and growing our presence in the local market.
About you...
You will be an experienced and highly motivated Regional Partnerships Manager with a scientific mind and ideally a proven track record of developing and managing partnerships and off-take agreements in the recycling industry, with a focus on plastics. You will have the intellectual agility and gravitas to partner with C Suite executives and have a clear purpose and mandate to bring Samsara’s technology to the world and create significant worldwide change.
Working closely with our Chief Commercial and Operations Officer, Head of Strategy, Partnerships Team and the broader business you will identify and pursue new business opportunities, build and manage relationships with key stakeholders, and drive revenue growth for Samsara.
You will also deeply believe in Samsara’s purpose and the important role we will play in creating the most impactful recycling company.
You have...
- At least 5 years of experience in business development, preferably in the plastic recycling or related industry.
- Experience in launching new products, entering new markets and developing go-to-market strategies that resulted in revenue growth
- Extensive experience in business development and partnership management, with the ability to develop and maintain successful relationships with a wide range of stakeholders.
- Demonstrated experience with, and enjoy engaging with stakeholders and the end-to-end pitch process (including research, submission development, analysis, and presentations).
- An entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to conceive and drive initiatives from idea to reality.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, negotiation and influencing skills, with an ability to engage with a variety of audiences.
- The ability to work as part of a team and autonomously as this role to start off with will be full remote/home based.
- Have a can-do, adaptable, resilient, positive, proactive attitude and approach.
- Ideally an MBA, Science Degree and/or other relevant graduate degree
- Intellectual strength balanced with a warm and low ego personality
- Strategic thinking and critical path analysis skills
- Courage to stand alone on issues that are in the long-term interests of Samsara and its stated values and purpose
- A strong empathetic radar
- High energy and are driven with the ability to multitask and exercise sound judgement to make decisions with an 80/20 mentality where required.
