Role: Regional Operations Manager – Leased & Tenanted Pubs Division

Location: South of England and South Wales (think Worcestershire to Hampshire and Pembrokeshire to Surrey) or Commutable to this area
Salary: £75k – £85k, company car/allowance, bonus scheme, pension and healthcare
Our Regional Operations Managers play a key role in the business, developing their people, inspiring them to be independent make great decisions, and leading our Business Development Managers to do what they love most – supporting our Publicans maximising their pub business opportunities.
You’ll be joining Marston’s Venture team where we are known for an eclectic estate of pubs, everything from your chocolate box, charming country pub to a buzzing community local, all creating a fun and exciting place to work for you and your team of Business Development Managers to operate in.
The role of Regional Operations Manager for our Venture pubs division has 4 BDMs operating across the South of England and South Wales with P&L accountability for over £8 million EBITDA
We’re looking for our Regional Operations Manager to be a big advocate of our ways of working, through courageous leadership, removing barriers that hold us back as a business and encouraging new ways of thinking through diversity of mindset. Support, challenge, and development is part of our growth agenda, this is what will take us and you, from good to great!
There are all the usual things such as high levels of standards, driving sales and business KPI targets to deliver. And we’ll be looking for you to deliver this by being visible to both your teams and your pubs, embracing a “sales culture”, building an engaged team and ultimately empowering your team to deliver outstanding support to our Publicans and genuinely creating “pubs to be proud of”.
Is it for you?
With proven multi-site experience managing Operation Managers or comparable, from within any customer focused industries, we also want you to share our passion for pubs and hospitality.
Role model strong leadership and accountability for achievement and fostering a culture that enables people to celebrate when that happens.
A resilient individual who is adaptable to change and not afraid to make the tough decisions, you are able build positive working relationships across the business to both share best practice and continually looks to optimise business opportunities for Marston’s.
