About the Role:

Reporting to the Director, Operations, the Regional Manager, Facilities & Maintenance performs, oversees, and maintains all installation, repair, and preventative maintenance and facilities functions. This is a highly collaborative role, and the person in this position has a solid understanding and working knowledge of maintenance processes, installation, and safety regulations in a large warehouse setting.

This position is based out of our Vacaville facility. Travel is required to our Burlington, NJ, and SoCal locations (approximately 15%).

What you'll do:

    • Oversee the maintenance and custodial teams and provide leadership and coaching
    • Ensure all health, safety, and OSHA regulations are followed on maintenance programs
    • Develop and execute equipment and machinery training for staff
    • Collaborate with leadership team to identify facility layout and manufacturing process improvements
    • Monitor, evaluate, and inspect the interior of the building and the exterior of the property, including equipment and surrounding grounds, for deficiencies, potential safety, health, or code problems, and necessary repairs
    • Oversee the implementation of new machinery for the facility
    • Participate in budget development for the maintenance department, and ensure operations stay within budget
    • Perform facility inspections to identify and resolve issues in real time, including electrical, plumbing, and related equipment
    • Identify, onboard, and manage 3rd Party Maintenance service providers when required
    • Monitor and manage equipment inventory; order equipment and schedule repairs as necessary
    • Develop, implement, and manage a comprehensive preventative maintenance schedule for all regional facilities
    • Oversee and coordinate the daily operations of the maintenance and custodial teams, ensuring optimal productivity and efficiency

What you'll bring:

    • 4+ years experience as a facilities and/or maintenance manager, maintenance supervisor, or relevant experience with at least 3+ years of supervisory or management experience; industrial kitchen and production equipment experience highly preferred
    • Experience with and understanding of company expansion efforts from a holistic growth perspective highly preferred
    • Certified Maintenance and Reliability Practitioner (CMRP) or other maintenance certificate and coursework preferred
    • Working knowledge and hands-on experience building and overseeing preventative maintenance programs
    • Solid understanding and demonstrated working knowledge of diagnosing and repairing plumbing, electrical systems, and industrial equipment
    • Demonstrated ability to read and interpret blueprints, equipment, and process schematics
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to clearly and concisely explain information to a variety of audiences and stakeholders
    • Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple projects, tasks, and responsibilities
    • Ability to successfully and consistently meet deadlines while maintaining attention to detail
    • Tech-savvy approach with everyday tasks and communication; comfortable with G-Suite and Slack a big plus
$100,000 - $120,000 a year
The salary range for this role is $100k - $120k and represents the company's good faith minimum and maximum range at the time of the posting. The actual compensation offered to a candidate will depend on various factors, including, but not limited to, the candidate’s experience, qualifications, and location.
