We currently have various roles available including general part time assistant and supervisor roles.

Usually an animal care related qualification is required, however on this occasion we are seeking, hard working individuals able to multitask and learn new skills in understanding the body language and behaviour of dogs.

Experience and qualifications are preferred but not essential as training is given but candidates must be self motivated when it comes to improving their knowledge around dog training and behaviour.

We're a small team and family run business, our team love working with dogs and our center provides a great, clean and dry environment to do that. It is important that candidates understand what the role entails. Please review our website and social media to see a day in the life of our team.

Dog Day Care Assistant

Duties Involve

  • Dealing with Customers
  • (A lot of) cleaning up after the day care dogs,
  • Managing dogs using basic training techniques (Training given).
  • Centre cleaning, and opening/close down procedures.
  • Ensuring dog welfare and basic training meets our high standards.
  • Basic admin, reports and reception duties.

The ability to multi task and be on your feet all day is a must, all our dogs require lots of attention.

We are NOT a kennels, and you will be working as part of a team taking care of 40-50 free roaming dogs of all breeds, ages and sizes.

Hours

Must be available Weekdays between 7.30am - 6pm

Part Time - 4-8 hours per day. Full Time 8-10 hours

There is scope for more hours in the future based on performance and company growth

Requirements:

  • To live within the local area
  • Able to drive to work or within comfortable walking distance
  • A passion for delivering a great service.
  • Be very well presented with good English skills
  • Demonstrate that you are reliable, trustworthy and organised
  • Be happy to have thorough police (DBS) and reference check.
  • Fit and healthy, able to remain active for long period of time.

Job Type: Part-time
Part-time hours: 11-22 per week

Salary: Up to £10.42 per hour
