Regional General Manager – Operations
Northern Region

Following continued growth and expansion across the Island of Ireland Sysco Ireland are now looking to expand and strengthen our Operations Leadership team by introducing a robust regional structure to include three Regional General Managers (RGM).
Overall responsibility:
You will be responsible for the overall management of an operational region for Sysco Ireland. This will entail a mix of Warehouses and Transport Depots within the region, from operational decision making to professional development and succession planning with a large mandate to supply and service into Sysco Depots and being an important player in our overall network on the Island. While partnering with our commercial team to develop and support meaningful partnerships with our customers.
You’ll also contribute to and execute against our overall strategy and continued expansion, while managing your site operational plans, budgets and performance targets.
The role includes:
Managing a portfolio of business critical change projects- Partnering with the commercial team and co-leading functional profitability forums
- Financial control within budgetary remit – contribution to Group and local distribution and operational efficiency
- Establish/implement depot succession plan, incl. employee training and development plans
- Manage two-way Communication Cascade
- Execute distribution and operational strategy in line with overall Group goals
- Establish and review site operational Plans, Budgets and KPIs/Performance Targets
