A dynamic and exciting role, you will lead and inspire, delivery of a safe, compliant and customer focused ground operation across Middle East, Africa and Asia Pacific.
Alongside operational responsibilities, you'll play a critical role in British Airways Worldwide Airports leadership team, building and transforming the customer experience through service, innovation and technology.
You will have a firm eye on the future, understanding how trends and developments will influence and evolve the travel experience.

About the role:
- Safe, secure, and compliant delivery of c64 daily movements at c28 airports.
- Leading and inspiring the Middle East, Africa and Asia Pacific management team to deliver stretching customer, operational and commercial targets, often through 3rd party suppliers.
- Leading supplier management performance across the region
- Accountability for building and delivering Middle East, Africa and Asia Pacific business plan (BP) / financial plan
- Responsibility for delivering a consistent ground experience proposition
- Leading or participating in the successful planning and execution of airport/ ground handing /safety related projects.
- Management of effective operational business continuity and emergency plans
About you:
- Experienced in leading large resource groups, both insourced and outsourced, in a customer service or operational area.
- Comprehensive understanding of global operations interfaces and how to deliver performance metrics across complex geographical boundaries, both above and below wing.
- Extensive supplier manager experience
- Track record of delivering quantifiable change, preferably in cross functional and IR sensitive environments.
- Experience of working with Trade Unions and staff associations.
- Strong change management skills
- Delivery focused – able to lead a complex and diverse programme of work
