Pentland Brands are looking for a Regional Account Manager to manage and grow our Canterbury customer base. In this role no two days are same, the role is fast paced and willing be managing key external stakeholders.

The role supports Pentland's commercial strategy for Teamwear through the day to day account management of a defined set of Customers and has accountability for achieving and surpassing annual budgets by Customer & by brand.

This is an excellent opportunity for an entrepreneurial and enthusiastic individual who has an already proven track record of nurturing and growing new verticals. You'll have significant internal & external stakeholder management, working across key personnel within Pentland including Customer Operations, Credit, Finance, Product & Marketing.

The role you’d play as Regional Account Manager

· Working closely with a defined Customer base: monitor, challenge & lead course-correction recommendations for each of our brands as required to deliver turnover & profit goals.

· Design, deliver and execute aligned customer roadmaps (1-3 years) that deliver against the financial, go to market / brand presence and efficiency targets for each customer.

· Make recommendations for investment (marketing spend) within the defined region ensuring we maximise return and deliver the agreed sale/profit targets & brand ambitions.

· Utilise data and insight to scope, recommend and execute plans/opportunities/mitigate risk and drive efficiency opportunities within defined Customer base.

· Work closely with Inside Sales to nurture & convert leads.

· Work closely with your team & line manager to identify & convert commercial opportunities.

· Contribute to regular meetings, providing weekly & monthly updates on Customer & regional performance tracking against monthly & annual targets.

What you’d bring as

  • Proven record of achievement in sales and an unwavering desire to succeed.
  • Experience at (Regional) Account Manager level or above.
  • Extensive understanding of the key consumer & customer types within this channel and be able to articulate their wants & needs.
  • Extensive understanding of the competitor landscape within this channel
  • Extensive understanding of the Core Sports (Rugby, Cricket, Hockey, Netball) and/or Education landscape. Experience with tenders a plus.
  • Ability to nuture & convert a sales lead.
  • Outstanding attention to detail.
