About The Job
We are looking for a driven and proactive candidate to focus on account management maximising existing relationships whilst also putting significant focus on winning and developing new accounts. A strong candidate will be an outstanding relationship builder with the ability to increase the distribution of our brands from our premium portfolio, including Lacons own brand.
Role: Regional Account Manager
Location: Defined Account base from Home
Reporting to: Managing Director.
External Relationships: Independent On-trade retailers, Key suppliers salesforce, technical services
Salary: Depending on Experience + bonus
Pension: Access to the company pension scheme
Hours of Work: As necessary to match customer's needs
Primary Purpose of Role: To profitably gain, manage and develop a defined database of on-trade retailers, both existing and prospective
What you’ll be doing:
- Maintain and develop existing and new customers by selling appropriate brands and categories via ethical sales methods, with relevant internal liaison, to optimise quality of service, growth of margin and turnover, and customer satisfaction.
- Journey plan to achieve productivity targets by effectively planning appointments and managing geography
- Use systems to report against callage, analyse performance, identify trends, and act and update the relevant information.
- Liaison with/Focus on Key Suppliers/Brands to implement company strategy
- Respond to and follow up on sales enquiries using appropriate methods
- Attend and present at external customer and internal meetings with other company functions necessary to perform duties and aid business development.
Essential requirements
· Live on or near to geographical territory and be prepared to travel within the geographical area.
· Prepared to work some evenings as & when the business demands
· Preferable experience in Sales, Customer facing, FMCG
· A confident and outgoing personality is essential
· Driven, logical thinker with good communication and presentation skills
· Full clean driving licence
· Basic technical/computing skills
Qualifications and Education Requirements
Educated to GCSE level or equivalent, or relevant experience.

· Able to demonstrate high levels of persistence, resilience, and results orientation
· High levels of passion, enthusiasm, and a willingness to learn
· Good attention to detail, with the ability to apply the correct solution for the right situation
· Good organisational skills and ability to plan workload effectively
· Good listener with the ability to quickly gain rapport and trust across all levels

Salary: £30,000.00-£45,000.00 per year
