THE ROLE
As the RAM for North England at Drop Bear, you will have an exciting opportunity to have a real impact on a fast growth company and grow our North presence. You will be expected to:
- Work collaboratively within the Drop Bear team and with partners
- Travel to HQ in South Wales once per quarter
- Travel to the brewery once per month (once operational)
- Manage key & independent sales accounts Deliver new business across ‘The North’ within defined performance objectives and revenue targets (Key cities Manchester, Liverpool, Leeds & Sheffield)
- Report to the Head of Sales Develop & execute the regional strategy contributing to the total business success
- Think outside the box to develop new and unique sales tactics and incentives to drive performance
- Be a positive Drop Bear brand ambassador and effectively communicate our value proposition to a variety of industries
As part of the National Team, you will be required to win market share for our brands by selling both directly and via wholesale & retail partners. This role will be focused on winning new business in the short & medium term.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Securing permanent listings in new customers across the North of England Creating & executing activation & promotional plans to ‘pull through’ sales in line with the ‘National Brand Plan’
- Create partnerships and grow sales with new Multiple Retail Groups
- Building winning relationships with new wholesale partners
- Accurate forecasting and management of the ‘Sales Budget’
- Negotiation and analysis of commercial agreements to ensure on going revenue optimisation
- As a key member of the Sales Team, be a real team player, lead by example and share best practice
ROLE COMPETENCIES
- A passion for beer/ premium brands and a clear understanding of what makes these brands successful
- Self-motivated and solutions based with a ‘can-do’ attitude
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, both verbally and written
- Commercial awareness with good numerical and logical reasoning skills
- Ability to translate category insights into compelling ‘sales stories’
- Excellent time management with the ability to multi- task, prioritise and plan effectively
- A strategic mindset, someone who will make the right decision for the long term
- Demonstrate an affinity with working within B Corp principles
- An inclusive personality who is happy to work as part of a diverse team
EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS
- Minimum 4 years On / Off Trade sales & account management experience
- Experience working with free trade, wholesale, retail and on trade multiple retail customers
- Knowledge of the On & Off Trade marketplace, with existing relationships with customers across the North of England
