Rate - £21 per hour
The Refugee Resettlement Housing Team Leader will lead on Councils Refugee Housing Service, co-ordinating work streams and providing line management support for 4 Housing Officers, ensuring a high-quality rehousing and homelessness service for refugees, with pathways into and out of the service in a timely manner. This is a hybrid role with the expectation of 3 days in the office.
You will be required to have:
- Substantial experience of interviewing and negotiation skills including direct experience of working to prevent homelessness
- Knowledge of the causes and impact of homelessness, prevention techniques and strategies.
- Knowledge of Immigration, Homelessness and relevant Social Services legislation.
- An informed knowledge of the range of issues affecting new and existing refugee and migrant service users in Liverpool.
