Administrator (Permanent)
Langley, Slough SL3, UK
Full Time - 37.5 hours per week, Monday – Friday (core hours 09:00 – 17:30)
Job Summary
The role will comprise the screening and vetting of all Employed and Self-Employed individuals that are engaged with the business of TVS SCS in the UK. This is undertaken in accordance within external and internal requirements and using various PC and web-based applications.
Key Responsibilities
- To ensure candidates are eligible to undertake work for the company
- Ensuring relevant documents are provided for checks
- Completing DBS, Experian and sanction checks
- Checking 5 year work history as required by the business and our customers.
- Utilisation of both recognised and bespoke software packages
- Requirement to provide reporting to the business of current positions and progress of clearances to stakeholders
- Engagement as required with external auditors to evidence processes are adhered to.
Essential Skills and requirements:
- A good working level of computer skills to include Excel, Word, Outlook and MS Teams
- Ability to work on own initiative, as well as part of a team
- Working knowledge of GDPR and compliance
- Able to work with confidentiality and discretion
- Attention to detail and the ability to work in a busy environment
- Good organisational, time management and interpersonal skills
- Able to manage own workload and prioritise effectively
- Ability to liaise effectively with peers, and internal/external contacts, verbally and in written communication
Advantageous (not essential)
- If you are available immediately/short notice period
- To have working knowledge of screening, vetting, reference, credit and DBS checks
Working Hours: (as stated above)
Lunch break of 1 hour (unpaid) per day
Office Location:
The Langley office (Head Office) is a short walk across from the Langley overground train station which is on the Elizabeth line.
Within the business park, the Langley office has its own free onsite staff car park. There are onsite kitchen facilities/break room, free tea & coffee and break out seating areas away from workspaces.
The office is a short walk to the Canal and to the centre of Langley town centre with various shops, supermarket, Costa coffee, Post Office etc. and a sandwich van visits the business park weekday mornings.
