Role summary:
We have an exciting opportunity to be a part of the National Bank team at NHS Professionals as a Managing Consultant. This post is a "Fixed Term Contract" to cover maternity leave for 12 months with potential for the role to be made permanent for the right candidate. The post-holder will be responsible for managing their team in recruiting suitably qualified, professional candidates. You will work alongside the management team to assess client requirements, pipeline effectiveness and deliver an outstanding service to our clients and bank members
Within this role, you will provide effective recruitment strategies to meet our client demand. You will need to be a self-starter and proactive to succeed in this role.
This role does require some nationwide travel in the UK.
The NHS Professionals National Bank helps supply nursing and midwifery workers to member Trusts.
We are a team of 9 people that provide an end-to-end service to our National Bank Clients from understanding the clients' requirements, attraction of the right candidates, recruitment and onboarding, supporting the candidates and building a strong relationship and a pool of available bank members to fill shifts.
- Line management of a team of Recruitment Consultants focused on the recruitment and placement of candidates to meet demand within National Bank clients, driving and delivering the talent attraction and recruitment services for NHS Professionals including campaigns, screening, processing, and referring relevant applicants into the candidate pipeline using best practice solutions.
- Ensuring only relevant applicants are progressed into the Compliance workstream and continually assesses needs against fulfilment and predicted demand.
- Manage a team and monitor data to ensure the team’s performance is managed against objectives and targets to increase shift fill.
- Act as a subject matter expert for National Bank recruitment for the team and Clients trusts with an aim of reducing client reliance on external staffing agencies.
- Work alongside the Management Team to assess Client requirements, pipeline effectiveness, and deliver an outstanding service to our clients and bank members.
- Account and client relationship management is essential for the role
- Be a very strong communicator who is able to build and manage relationships at all levels
- Be an experienced recruiter, preferably with an understanding of 360 recruitment.
- Have the ability and confidence to train, lead and mentor a team.
- Deliver a first-class customer experience.
- Be very comfortable dealing with data and conducting analysis to produce reports. From these reports you must be able to provide meaningful insight.
- Understand contractual obligations and have strong compliance knowledge
- Have knowledge of recruitment in an NHS environment.
- Be able to work at pace without compromising on the quality of service delivered.
- Possess a strong desire to succeed.
