Recruitment Assistant
Contract - 13 months
Pay Rate - £15.30 per hour - Inside IR35 - Umbrella Rate
We have an opportunity for a Recruitment Assistant to join a prestigious automotive company based in Whitley, Coventry.
This position provides day-to-day Recruitment support to a global recruitment delivery team.
You will take responsibility for delivering key recruitment activities, including offer and Onboarding communications with candidates and hiring managers. You will have a customer-focused approach to your work, placing great importance on the candidate and hiring manager experience.
Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities
The Recruitment Coordinator will provide a comprehensive recruitment service to the organisation, transacting all offer and onboarding activities in line with work instructions and within agreed timescales. Give recruitment advice and respond to queries, working in line with the Recruitment Policies and Processes.
Compliance/Audit and Document Management
- Enter and maintain candidate information into the applicant tracking system as required
- Create, file and maintain filing system
- Support compliance Queries
- Supprt audting activites
- Support the HR Direct ticketing activity and Inbox
- Managing tickets to completion.
Liaising with candidates and Managers
- Managing Email inboxes for Recruitment Team; professionally responding to enquiries and requests.
- Support new starters into the team by setting themselves up for the site
- Providing general admin support
Offer & Onboarding
- To produce & issue contracts of employment and changes to terms and conditions letters within SLA and 100% accuracy
- Manage background checks for both internal and external candidates
- Send onboarding links within SLA
- Follow up on candidates from offer acceptance moving them to the Onboarding stage, providing any support required.
Talent Support
- Allocating roles within the applicant tracking system in line with the agreed SLA
- Support other HR processes and projects as required
- Interview Scheduling and booking candidates on site/ visitors
- Processing travel expenses claims
- Generating reports as required
Knowledge, Skills and Experience
- Previous success in a busy administrative role
- Ability to read, analyse,and interpret general business information such as, business emails,and HR/Recruitment communications, etc.
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from managers, recruiters, executives, candidates and the public.
- Ability to build effective relationships with recruiting team, hiring manager and candidates
- Ability to communicate effectively with others, both orally and written.
- Ability to remain adaptable and flexible.
- Strong customer orientation.
- Good working knowledge of MS Office applications and the willingness to learn Technology systems
- Exceptional attention to detail with the ability to prioritise, multi-task, work collaboratively problem solve while maintaining flexibility and meeting timelines
