Job description
Cognita Schools are recruiting for a Recruitment Advisor. The role sits in the EU HR team supporting the UK business, and you will be responsible for supporting schools and head office (SSC and Group) with recruitment and will support the Senior Talent Manager in delivering an efficient and effective recruitment and onboarding process (communication, advertisement, recruitment, selection), ensuring consistency in approach and best practice. Produce and analyse vacancy and hiring data to improve time to hire and cost to hire across the Cognita UK region.
The role is remote, but you will be expected to travel to the schools to support recruitment events, so you must be able to travel.
Key responsibilities will include:
General
- Building strong relationships within the Education team and the relevant SSC teams and generating close relationships with the HR team in the UK.
- Own entry-level and mid-level recruitment directly, managing the full recruitment cycle.
- Take role briefings from Hiring Managers to identify the key skills and experiences required for open vacancies across the Shared Service centre.
- Use various techniques to find exceptional talent for our open vacancies, including Cognita Website, TES, Indeed and LinkedIn, talent communities and networking.
- Undertake pro-active searches to engage passive candidates by applying targeted search skills, and building and creating an extensive database of candidates for key roles within the organisation.
- Supporting and advising schools on attraction strategies for specific roles and supporting the Senior Talent Manager in developing these strategies.
- Supporting the schools to organize recruitment events for key roles and attending and supporting events.
- Create an exceptional experience for candidates, being the first point of contact at Cognita for most candidates
- Promote our Employer Brand on online and offline platforms, including Glassdoor and Indeed.
- Creation and management of vacancy and recruitment reports identifying a number of vacancies, using the data to work with the Senior Talent Manager to challenge and support hiring managers to improve best hiring practices.
- Identify competitive companies to target - initiating and developing relationships with potential candidates.
- Supporting the Senior Talent Manager in researching and sourcing will be a key part of the role and one that should be undertaken with passion and dedication.
- Competitor intelligence; sharing this information with the team.
- As an external facing representative of Cognita represent the image of our Schools Group to external candidates and external partners and ensure a positive experience for all.
About you
- Experience working within the Education Sector and recruitment experience, preferably in a fast-paced environment.
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to deliver with impact.
- High attention to detail and quick at identifying priorities.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Excellent Microsoft office skills (PowerPoint, Word, Excel). The ability to manipulate data for recruitment reporting.
- Ability to effectively manage high-volume workload.
- Previous experience in managing and building candidate talent pools and pipelines
- Previous experience with ATS and candidate data
