Role: Trainee Accountant

You’ll learn about the job, on the job, whilst we support you through further studies, so you’ll gain qualifications as well as work experience and skills. As a Trainee Accountant your main responsibilies will be:
- To learn and support all functions relating to the Purchase Ledger; including payment of invoices
- To learn and support all functions relating to the Sales Ledger; including collection of late receipts
- To learn and support all functions relating to the Subcontract Ledger; including making payments and paying Subcontractor Tax
- To learn and support all aspects of producing the daily Bank Reconciliations
- To learn and support the processing of expenses and credit card statements
- HNC/HND/Bsc (Hons) (or currently working towards or prepared to)
- Complimentary relevant experience
- Ability to work under pressure
- Methodical approach
- Numerate
- Ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Computer literate
- Willingness to learn
