Recruitment Administrator

The Performing Arts Academy (TPA Academy) is looking for an enthusiastic part time recruitment administrator to join their team. The objective of the role is to assist in the search and recruitment of teaching staff and dance teachers to work in roles within Primary schools. The ideal candidate would be someone who is very outgoing, organised, has a lot of confidence in themselves and their job role. They will show a willingness to learn and use their own initiative to seek new dance teachers for TPA Academy.

The role is new and the opportunity is there for the right person to make the role their own.

You will be joining a fantastic team who are very passionate about what we do. TPA Academy was founded in 2010 and operates in Primary Schools delivering high quality Performing Arts Lessons to children.

Job Role:

  • To be responsible for the recruitment and retention of staff
  • Creating and submitting job adverts across various jobs boards and social media
  • Helping to collate Applications and CVs
  • Arranging interviews with candidates and sending the correct information over to them
  • Organising staff and making sure they obtain a DBS check, first aid certification and their safeguarding certification
  • Carrying out references for current staff
  • Contacting candidates using all forms of media such as email, phone calls and text messages
  • Maintaining an accurate and up to date employee database
  • Following Safer Recruitment Procedures for hiring all new starters

Requirements for the job role:

  • Be based in the Southampton/Romsey surrounding areas
  • To be hardworking and reliable.
  • Have a passion for the job role you are undertaking.
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills.
  • Be self-motivated in reaching targets set.
  • Availability to start immediately
  • Computer literate
  • Ability to prioritise your own workload and work to deadlines
