We are looking for a dynamic and enthusiastic Grill/ Sous Chef for Ox184. Part of FullerThomson, Ox184 is a popular, well-established bar and restaurant, providing laid back drinking and dining in Edinburgh.
The ideal candidate lives within Edinburgh, as a closing shift finishes at 00:30. We also do late night food Thursday to Sunday and kitchen closes at 2am

. Tip share based on the number of hours worked. Expected to be between £2000-£3000 per year

What we want from you:
· Ability to produce work of a high standard and to execute duties with an eye for detail
. Be able to lead a team through a busy service.
· You will be well-presented, articulate and organised and have friendly personality.
· Ensure provision of first-class customer service by all kitchen team members, setting a personal example to your team at every opportunity
· A passion for food with the ability to consistently produce dishes to specification
· A confident personality and strong leadership qualities
· Develop great working relationships with Management and FOH team members
· Intermediate Food Hygiene Certificate or equivalent
· Minimum 6 months chef experience in a busy bar/restaurant
