Job Title: Recruiter/ Planner
Reports To: Head of Operations
Location: Methil
Accountability
· Responsible for setting up an applicant tracking process
· Advertising GIS NDT personnel recruitment (permanent and temporary) via the Group HR procedure
· Manage the pipeline of candidates received including candidate verification and if aligned with job description
· Carry out the recruitment process of CVS through Group HR preferred methods
· Responsible for carrying out the first selection of candidates through the process established by Group HR
· Handover the first selection of candidates to Head of Operations and Group HR
· Responsible for conducting correspondence with candidates
· Collect, process recruitment and candidate documents and provide relevant information Group HR
· Responsible for setting up a planner/scheduling process with the Head of Operations
· Responsible for aligning vacant workscopes with suitable GIS NDT personnel via the agreed planner/scheduling process
· Assist with the mobilising of Technicians within the UK and internationally for both onsite and offshore workscopes, including the booking hotel accommodation, car hire, rail etc and manage the cancelling and rebooking travel if a particular job overruns or completes early
· Assist with the setting up of a manpower resource sheet and assist maintaining this on a weekly basis for offshore and sites
· Assist with the maintaining and tracking technicians’ holidays via relevant system and manpower tracker, highlighting any overlapping of holidays to the Project Managers
· Work in a manner that protects the health, safety and welfare of self and others
· Work with colleagues to continuously improve the Company’s working practices
· Attend appropriate meetings for reporting purposes when required
· Adhere to all Company policies and procedures including quality, safety, environmental and HR
Person Specification
Experience
· Knowledge/good understanding of NDT (advantageous but not essential)
· Knowledge of oil and gas, renewable energy and chemical energy (advantageous but not essential)
· Knowledge of a working in a recruitment environment
· Good working knowledge of ISO9001 requirements
· Valid UK Driving License required for usage of company vehicle
· IT literate with specific experience using Microsoft Excel, Word and Power Point programs
