Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Plant Recruiter to join our HR team and play a vital role in attracting and selecting top talent for our plant operations. As a Plant Recruiter, you will be responsible for sourcing, screening, and hiring qualified individuals for various positions within our plant facility. Your expertise in recruitment, knowledge of plant operations, and ability to identify and engage high-performing candidates will be instrumental in ensuring the success of our plant workforce.
Responsibilities:
Talent Acquisition:
Develop and execute effective recruitment strategies to attract a diverse pool of qualified candidates for plant positions.
Utilize a variety of sourcing channels, such as job boards, social media, professional networks, and industry-specific platforms, to identify potential candidates.
Screen resumes, conduct interviews, and assess candidates' qualifications, skills, and cultural fit for plant operations.
Collaborate with hiring managers to define job requirements, create job descriptions, and establish candidate profiles for each position.
Recruitment Process Management:
Manage the end-to-end recruitment process for plant positions, including job posting, candidate screening, interview coordination, reference checks, and offer negotiation.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date candidate records and documentation in the applicant tracking system (ATS) or other HR software.
Coordinate pre-employment assessments, physical examinations, and background checks as required.
Ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and internal policies throughout the recruitment process.
Employer Branding and Candidate Engagement:
Promote our company's employer brand and positive reputation within the plant industry and local community.
Develop and maintain relationships with educational institutions, technical schools, and other relevant organizations to attract emerging talent.
Participate in career fairs, industry events, and networking opportunities to enhance the visibility of our organization and engage with potential candidates.
Collaborate with the marketing team to create compelling job advertisements and employer branding materials to attract top talent.
Data Analysis and Reporting:
Track and analyze recruitment metrics, such as time-to-fill, cost-per-hire, candidate quality, and diversity, to evaluate the effectiveness of recruitment strategies and processes.
Generate regular reports on recruitment activities, including candidate pipelines, sourcing channels, and hiring trends.
Provide insights and recommendations to optimize recruitment efforts and improve the overall quality of the plant workforce.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Proven experience as a recruiter, preferably within a plant or manufacturing environment.
- Solid understanding of plant operations, job functions, and related skills.
- Familiarity with recruitment best practices, sourcing techniques, and applicant tracking systems (ATS).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively assess and engage candidates.
- Strong organizational and time management abilities to handle multiple recruitment processes simultaneously.
- Knowledge of employment laws, regulations, and compliance requirements.
- Proficiency in using HR software and tools for candidate management and reporting.
