Overview
Responsible for acquiring exceptional talent through attracting and sourcing viable candidates to fill vacancies throughout the Health System. Must build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external customers. Develop, execute and update recruitment strategies to include pro actively sourcing and identifying active and passive candidates through a strong focus on networking, relationship building and the use of the most up-to-date recruiting technology, techniques and social media. Evaluates current Riverside Health System (RHS) job postings and makes recommendations to maximize candidate activity. Participates in job fairs, recruitment and various networking events. Follows established organization and department policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory, federal and local employment law requirements. Exhibits exceptional customer service and professionalism to both internal and external customers at all times.
What you will do
- Develops strong relationships and partners with Hiring Managers to ensure job requirements, postings and expectations are accurate and understandable to candidates. Collaborates with Talent Acquisition (TA) Manager and Hiring Managers to develop and execute effective recruitment plans. Follows up on a regular basis with Hiring Managers and candidates to ensure timeliness of recruitment process.
- Develops and executes new recruiting/sourcing methods to attract qualified and diverse talent for employment opportunities within RHS. Leverages available technologies to maximize recruiting/sourcing efforts. Participates in job fairs, career days and visits RHS facilities on a regular basis. Creates applicant pools for hard to fill positions. Monitors open position report and time to fill reports to track progress of recruitment efforts.
- Follows established department procedures for posting requisitions, reviewing applications, extending offers and onboarding.
- Demonstrates initiative in utilizing time and prioritizing workload. During periods of short staffing or high volume of requisitions, assists TA staff in the completion of their work so that service levels are not compromised. Is flexible and responds to the needs of the department to provide optimal operational efficiency.
Minimum qualifications for this position include:
Education
- Bachelors Degree, Human Resources or related field, or equivalent work experience (5+ years managing all phases of the recruitment and hiring process) (Required)
Experience
- 3-4 years Experience in full cycle recruitment, HR, sales or other related role (Required)
Licenses and Certifications
- Professional in Human Resource (PHR) - Human Resources Certification Institute or SHRM-CP (Preferred)
- Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) - Human Resources Certification Institute or SHRM-SCP (Preferred)
