JOB SUMMARY:
To recruit and support employers and learners across Skills provision contracts and complete all funding paperwork and tasks associated with this process.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- To work to agreed targets to meet the contracted requirements across the skills provision
- Become the first point of contract for learners to successfully recruit them onto the right programme to meet their IAG aspirations
- Create a bespoke learner journey, that includes Individual Learner Plans (ILP’s) and initial assessment and diagnostics
- Work with vocational tutors to build in key milestones for ILP’s, funding paperwork, exit interviews, placement opportunities and progressions to support individual learner journeys
- Support tracking learner attendance
- Engage and build relationships with business to create sustainable progression opportunities learners into within the contract profile
- Responsible for the timely completion and administration of all funding paperwork in line with contract profile
- Networking with other agencies and stakeholders to create programmes to support the learner journey.
- Create partnerships to aid SWAP recruitment and progression opportunities
- Understand the complete PET-Xi offering to ensure maximum opportunities for the learners
- Submit weekly performance updates to the Contract Manager
- Receive and respond to any customer comments or complaints and take necessary action
- Under the direction of the Senior Contract Manager, ensure compliance with ESFA and external body regulations and funding rules including external audit
- To contribute to the implementation of an engaging and effective communications and marketing strategy for programmes/projects as part of PET-Xi’s wider employability communications and marketing strategy including identifying best practice and case studies
- To contribute to the annual quality review of the service and the programme of continuous improvement.

To deliver your day to day duties consistently within the terms of the contract
To comply at all times with the requirements of the Health & Safety regulations under the Health & Safety at Work Act (1974) and to take responsibility for the health and safety and welfare of others in the working environment ensuring that agreed safety procedures are carried out to maintain a safe environment.
To comply always with the Company’s data security policy. Also, to respect confidentiality of information about staff, learners, and service users and in particular the confidentiality of electronically stored personal data in line with the General Data Protection Regulations.
Disclosure Barring (DBS) (formerly CRB) checks are a mandatory part of the recruitment process for staff. Education / Qualifications
5 GCSE’s or equivalent (A-C) must include English
Level 3 IAG
Experience
Previous experience of recruiting for engagement/vocational/skills programmes
Track record of engaging with stakeholders
Evidence of strong administration skills
Knowledge Requirements
Knowledge of ESF/ESFA/DWP funding and paperwork completion
Understanding of different progression opportunities
Good command of the English language
Basic user knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
