Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust are currently seeking Care Support Workers to join their Ear Nose and Throat team on either a part time or full time basis. Ideally they are looking for someone who can commit to 3-6 months work, shifts are days 8am to 5pm.

About the Trust

What you will be responsible for
· Provide a high quality, safe and supportive environment in order to care for patients/clients, carers, relatives and staff to meet identified care needs.
· Assess, plan, implement and evaluate nursing care in partnership with multidisciplinary colleagues and ensuring robust clinical governance.
· Co-operate with and maintain good relationships with other disciplines that are attending and treating clients to maximise patient care.
· Maintain good relationships and an empathic approach to clients’ carers and relatives and refer them to a trained nurse for any questions they may have on the clients’ condition or for any suggestions or complaints that they wish to raise.
The role will involve, but not limited to you performing the above.
You will have the following qualification/experience:
· A minimum of 6 months paid experience in an Acute hospital environment within the last 2 years plus a care certificate or NVQ Level 2 or above in health and social care OR 12 months paid experience in an acute hospital environment in the last 3 years.
· Undertake regular mandatory training*
*Depending on the Trust, you may require variable additional certification and skills.
