Med Team Primary Care Services Ltd is sourcing a driven and ambitious Executive Recruiter to join our dynamic team covering Scotland. Our industry is thriving, and we’ve worked hard to secure trusted relationships with Clients and Candidates. We are based in Swansea.
You will be managing our Scottish Region nationally where we have recently been awarded contracts to supply doctors and allied health professionals to every hospital, community service and nhs authority.
We are one of the fastest growing Medical Recruitment agencies in Wales. We have numerous sole supplier Blue Chip Company contracts along with hundreds of NHS contracts supplying staff to every hospital in Wales, England, Scotland and the Channel Islands.
This is your chance to further your career with large earning potential. The job role entails professionally managing and sourcing Doctors and Clinicians nationally to fill hundreds of positions that we receive weekly, liaising with our clients throughout. Doctors are predominantly consultants and are happy to relocate for the right position. You will fill vacancies within a timescale agreed with clients.
You achieve this through, marketing, social media, networking, and through our large existing database of candidates. We have excellent relationships with our clients, so the door is open.
Consultants generally work for a minimum of twelve months therefore once placed you will earn commission monthly for the lifetime of the role. This makes achieving a regular monthly commission more realistic than recruiting for perm roles. They are then happy for you to source a new role.
Referrals are rife in our industry, Consultants and Clinicians constantly introduce their colleagues to Executive Recruiters, which again assists you achieve your earnings. You can build a team of ongoing Consultants to work with you realistically within three months.
Remote working would be strongly considered for the right person who has the right drive and experience working autonomously. We are currently in the process of moving to larger premises to service the increasing demand that’s been generated by our successes in the industry.

Full training is given to gain robust experience of our market. However, you need strong organisational and social media skills, a flare for sales and the ability to be consistent with relationship management. The recruitment market demands resilience and consistency. Ability to understand financials and gross margins is a must. You will attend events, network nationally either remotely or in person with key personnel and have the ability to deliver presentations when needed.
Whilst working at Medteam you will consistently develop your marketing, business and sales skills. You will be candidate resourcing, interviewing, liasing with your compliance team, managing job offers, and securing your client with the best candidate.
You will develop a twelve-month action plan with support from Directors and deliver the plan to the clients. You will build and manage a strong candidate database to enable you to react quickly to your clients needs.
To be considered for this post, you will ideally have;
- A strong academic background (preferably educated to Degree level),
- A UK Driving licence and access to a car,
- Be highly motivated to succeed.
- Exceptional communication skills
- Experience, in Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point.
We offer a competitive starting salary and a generous commission; our expectations would be that you double your salary in commission monthly within your business plan as the clients and consultants are available to the right person.
You will be expected to attend industry training courses and achieve recognised industry qualifications and certification.
