Job description

Lynx UK Ltd, a local telecoms asset management and engineering company, has an opportunity to join our HR team on a part time basis, 25 hours per week as a Recruitment Assistant.

Working along side colleagues in the HR team and managers across the company you will have proven recruitment & selection experience.

Key Responsibilities include:

Recruitment Administration Support, Candidate Screening, Interview Scheduling and Onboarding

  • Assist in the coordination of hiring activities
  • Prepare and post job adverts online on authorised job boards
  • Prepare and post and keep up to date job adverts on company website
  • Maintain and keep recruitment spreadsheets up to date
  • Use authorised job platforms to source suitable candidates
  • Respond to candidate queries
  • Assist with CV screening – identify skills to match appropriately with job vacancies -and initial phone screening of candidates
  • Arrange interviews and keep calendars up to date
  • Greet and assist interviewees onsite
  • Take notes during the interviews
  • Resolving interview cancellations
  • Rejecting candidates that do not match the skill set for the vacancy
  • Offering positions, verbally and in written format
  • Making relevant employee folders
  • Assisting with the onboarding of new candidates
  • Assisting with obtaining references for new employees
  • HR tasks as an when required

You will have least 1 year’s proven experience as Recruitment Assistant or other recruiting related position. Experience using the following IT systems - MS Windows, MS Office including Excel, Email, and Internet Explorer. Used to working within a medium sized business and experience within an administrative office role. Experience of keeping accurate confidential records and a good knowledge of general HR practices is essential.

With strong organisational skills, ability to prioritise, excellent communication skills both verbal and written, a professional attitude and good attention to detail combined with sound internet skills: email and internet search engines will put you in good stead for this position. An ability to maintain confidentiality and act with discretion and diplomacy is crucial. If you are self-motivated with the ability to work under own autonomy or as part of a team then this could be your next part time position.

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent
Part-time hours: 20 -25 per week

Salary: £11.50-£12.29 per hour
