Acting Pro Vice Chancellor for Marketing, Student Recruitment, and Student Administration
Directorate
We’re here to create and harness knowledge, to deliver opportunity for everyone.
About the Role
Following the decision of the Pro Vice-Chancellor (External Relations) to leave Edge Hill after nine years of exemplary service, the University is looking for a new Pro Vice-Chancellor to lead our Marketing, Corporate Communications, Student Recruitment (including International), and Student Administration and Registry teams, and to further strengthen and extend our brand and reputation, whilst having responsibility for overseeing the University’s Careers Service and the Arts Centre.
If you are a strategic thinker, a collaborative leader, and passionate about marketing and branding in higher education, then you should apply for this exciting opportunity to help shape the continued growth and development of our University.
About You
You will be an expert in your field and responsible for the strategic overview of our brand identity and local, regional, national, and global reach. You will develop and lead the implementation of ambitious strategies to enhance student recruitment, providing effective communication across and beyond the university to ensure colleagues and stakeholders, present and future, are well-informed, engaged, and have easy access to the information they need.
You will be an outstanding leader, with a track record of managing and motivating multi-functional teams, fostering a sense of collective ownership and commitment to value-based excellence across each department.
As a member of the University Directorate, the successful candidate will occupy a senior position as Pro Vice-Chancellor, reporting to the Vice-Chancellor and responsible for a full range of strategic objectives to support the development of the University, alongside other duties as may be identified from time to time.
