Recovery Driver 7.5 / Class2 - LAR Traffic Services - North London
Shifts – 12 Hr Shift / 6 on, 3 off Rota - Day & Night shifts available.
We are looking to recruit experienced recovery driver to join our team, ideally you will have some mechanical experience and been driving for at least 5 years in a Permanent role on a full-time basis.
The Role:
We rescue customers who breakdown with their vehicle at the side of the road, we either fix or recover to their desired destination.
You’ll be a welcome face to those stuck by the side of the road, recovering vehicles that have broken down, been involved in a Road Traffic Collision, or been abandoned - If you enjoy working with cars then this may be for you.
Key Skills:
- Experience within the recovery industry desirable but not essential
·Someone with exceptional customer service experience, the ability to work under pressure efficiently and safely and a flexible attitude to work.
- Excellent communication skills and a desire to assist customers who need assistance
- Excellent geographical knowledge of the UK
- Talking face-to-face with customers, sometimes in stressful circumstances and keeping calm
- The ability and motivation to work on your own initiative or as a team
Please note: Due to the type of industry we are in this is NOT a Monday to Friday role, it will include evenings and weekends as part of a rota, please don't apply if you cannot do this.
Due to the nature of our works, you will be required to undergo a DBS check/ Police Vetting. We do understand that not everyone is a Saint all of the time so please feel free to contact us if you have any concerns around minor or spent offences prior to applying.
