Our IP & Technology Protection and Enforcement Department advises on all types of intellectual property (IP) and information technology (IT) disputes. The department focuses primarily on IP and has experience and expertise in working on patent, trade mark, copyright, passing off, domain name, design right and breach of confidence claims.
We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced administrator to join our Intellectual Property Protection Records team, which mainly advises on trademarks and brand protection issues.

What can you expect?
- Provide efficient administrative support to the IP & Technology Protection and Enforcement Department
- Sorting, scanning and electronic filing away of incoming correspondence (noting deadlines and reminders, new instructions, etc).
- Providing a dedicated support service for the records database (WebTMS).
- Creating new database records and matter numbers for Fee Earners.
- Liaising with internal Risk and Conflicts team to support client opening, AML and conflicts process.
- Creating new client records on databases.
- Updating and maintaining the electronic trade mark, design and patent records on the database (WebTMS) and contacts CRM database (Interaction).
- Monitoring of department e-mail inbox
- Ad hoc administration tasks as required.
- Liaising with lawyers and formalities teams in Dublin, London, Manchester, Belfast and International offices around records and administrative tasks
A bit about you
- Committed to developing a long-term administrative career in an international law firm.
- Experience in an office based environment or professional services environment is desirable.
- Ability to work under pressure and handle heavy workload.
- Strong communication skills written and oral communication skills.
- Excellent attention to detail
- Excellent proven project and time management skills.
- Excellent IT skills and familiarity with Outlook, Excel and Word.
- A positive disposition as well as being a strong team player.
