You will provide reception and administrative support to Psychiatry of Old Age and if required Medicine for the Elderly, Royal Victoria Hospital services and associated team of medical and nursing staff. Acting as a focal contact for the service you will often be first contact for those visiting the facility. Duties are diverse in range and include audio typing of clinical reports and correspondence, and assisting to manage clinic appointments.
It is essential you possess excellent communication and organisational skills. You must be proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Word and Excel along with excellent keyboard skills and experience in audio typing.
You will be required to achieve the mandatory Induction standards for Healthcare Support Workers in Scotland and to comply with the Code of Conduct throughout your employment.

Hours of work are: 37.5 hours per week Monday – Friday 8.45 – 4.45
