There are full time and one part time receptionist positions available at both the LRI and LGH and cross site working is essential.
You will be joining a cohesive and enthusiastic administration team who are passionate about ensuring patients are given the best experience whilst waiting for surgery. Our admin team works closely with the nursing team to ensure we provide exceptional patient care within a warm and friendly environment.

To provide a comprehensive administrative support to the Theatre Arrivals team.
To minimise waste and efficient use of resources within the role.
Ensure that knowledge is current with regard to all relevant policies & procedures and that you remain compliant with them.
Carry out duties placed on employees by all relevant legislation and Trust policies, procedures and practices.
Support the implementation of relevant organisational policies and procedures.
Communicate clearly, politely and effectively with all service users and service stakeholders.

To work within a team ensuring cover is provided at all times to maintain an essential service.
To sort and prepare incoming medical notes.
To perform all the administrative tasks required to support the TAA Team. This includes chasing up of medical notes, latest medical correspondence and infection status of patients.
Admitting and discharging patients using the appropriate IT system in a timely manner.
To participate in team meetings to address standards of service and contribute to quality and customer satisfaction.
Provide relief cover for appropriate urgent clerical work during holidays and absence of colleagues.
Undertake any other duties that may be required from time to time that are designated by the line manager and are appropriate to the grade of the job.
Help to maintain efficient and accurate computerised and manual filing systems.
