The impact you’ll have:
We are looking for a new receptionist in our London HQ (Hammersmith) to support us on our busiest office days of Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday and provide some additional support to our Talent Acquisition team with the management of candidates and interviews. This person will report into the Head of People and will work closely alongside Facilities Coordinator as part of the Facilities team.
The receptionist will be responsible for welcoming all visitors to the office, including employees, contractors, suppliers, and job applicants, as well as managing post, deliveries and other general duties around the office. You will also be the first point of contact for most queries relating to the office and will be able to help people with their queries or signpost them to another team if needed.
Your day-to-day:
- Greeting and welcoming visitors (including candidates), directing them appropriately through the office and supplying them with refreshments as they wait
- Helping maintain workplace security by issuing, checking, and collecting badges as necessary and maintaining visitor logs
- Maintaining clean, tidy and safe reception area as well as keeping the staff kitchen area clear and well-stocked throughout the day.
- Maintain meeting room calendars, moving around meetings to accommodate everyone where possible
- Sorting, scanning and distributing mail and receiving incoming deliveries
- Ordering office supplies and arranging couriers
- Arranging catering for meetings / preparing meeting rooms
- Scheduling onsite and video interviews for candidates with speed and efficiency
- Maintain recruitment applicant tracking system ensuring information is up-to-date
Your skillset:
- Some experience of working in an office environment
- Proficiency with Google mail and office tools
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
- Good written and verbal communication
- Good at time management, organisation and multitasking
- Ability to work independently
