Job Title : Receptionist
Reports To: Reception Manager
Overall Purpose
As a Receptionist in the front of house team, your focus is on representing the brand by being friendly, positive, and helpful to all guests with any questions or queries they may have. You'll ensure all guests are dealt with in a timely and professional manner, whether in person or on the phone, record all reservations accurately and promptly, and direct all guests to their allocated areas while introducing them to the activity and ordering process. You'll communicate appropriately and efficiently with all departments to ensure smooth service, run daily reports on cover counts, organize the cloakroom, and have knowledge of the business as a whole, including the food and beverage offering. You'll greet and farewell all guests genuinely and ensure venue maintenance and troubleshooting is completed during service. We're seeking a confident, self-motivated individual with plenty of initiative and an inquisitive nature, always looking to improve and develop their skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Representing the brand by being friendly, positive, and willing to help all guests with any questions or queries they may have.
- Ensuring all guests are dealt with in a timely and professional manner, whether in person or on the phone
- Recording all reservations accurately and promptly onto the system
- Directing all guests to their allocated areas and introducing them to the activity, including the ordering process
- Communicating appropriately and efficiently with all departments to ensure smooth service.
- Running daily reports on cover counts
- Organizing the cloakroom and ensuring all guest belongings are tagged appropriately and securely stored.
- Having knowledge of the business as a whole, including the food and beverage offering
- Ensuring all guests are greeted and given a fond farewell in a genuine manner.
- Completing venue maintenance and troubleshooting during service

Salary £12.42 - £13.92 / Hour
Schedule: Part Time, Full Time
Experience: Minimum 1 year of experience
Location: Upper Ground Floor, Turbine Hall B, The Power Station, London SW11 8BZ
