pentahotel Birmingham is looking for a dedicated professional to join our friendly and well regarded team as a Guest Service Agent. Our hotel provides a fun and relaxed space with service that is welcoming and personal. Whether it’s the hotel’s retro and relaxed ambience, the casually dressed professional staff team or the games console being played in the lounge; this is a fun place to work and a fabulous place for guests to enjoy.
The ideal candidate will have exceptional people skills and enjoy working with a busy and passionate staff, across the hotel. You will be well presented, eager to exceed customer expectations and be able to deliver a warm and welcoming approach.
You will ideally have experience within a similar role or have worked in a customer service, hotel reception or a F&B environment.
Key responsibilities
- Checking guests in and out of the hotel
- Dealing with guest enquiries
- Taking payments
- Serving food in our restaurant and drinks at the bars
- Working in conference & events
- Liaising with the kitchen, reception and the bar and with the appropriate departments to maintain a high quality service for our customers
