Job description
The successful candidate will offer comprehensive administration support across the Planned Infusion Unit based within Newton Abbot Hospital. The post-holder will offer excellent customer service to colleagues and patients alike and be able to manage conflicting demands and manage their own workload; including face to face, email and telephone enquiries.
You will be required to work flexibly in order to meet service requirements and could be asked to travel to work at other sites to meet organisational need.

To offer administrative support to the Planned Infusion Unit within Newton Abbot Hospital.
General reception/admin duties including; greeting patients, liaising with clinical teams to ensure efficient and effective service throughout each department, offering excellent customer service to patients, colleagues and visitors to the organisation.
Ensuring the appropriate appointments are booked for patients visiting the Unit and the accurate recording of this. Organising notes and ensuring efficient admin support to Clinical Teams, to ensure timely treatment for patients.

The Planned Infusion Unit Team Work as part of a multi-disciplinary team; including Consultants and their clinical teams, Nursing staff, Pharmacy teams, clerical staff and voluntary staff.
The focus is on excellent customer service to all, supporting our colleagues and maintaining a sense of humour alongside a professional nature.
The building itself boasts light and airy spaces and is well-maintained, which certainly contributes towards the positive working environment offered at the Hospital.
