About the Role:
As a Receptionist/Administrator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring smooth operations and exceptional customer experiences within the holiday park. Your responsibilities will include:
- Handling check-ins and changeovers, primarily on Mondays, Fridays, and Saturdays (in the off-season, the Saturday can be replaced with a mid-week day or shorter working hours).
- Managing all enquiries from guests and private owners, both via email and telephone.
- Collaborating with four park wardens to coordinate tasks and address any customer concerns.
- Managing cash and processing POS payments, ensuring accuracy and adhering to established procedures.
- Collating receipts and POS reports at the end of each day for the finance team.
- Contributing to the efficient management of the office and taking ownership of your role within the well-established team culture.
Working Hours and Compensation:
This is a part-time permanent role, with working hours scheduled from 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM on Mondays, Fridays, and Saturdays.
The hourly rate for this position is up to £12.00 per hour, depending on the candidate's experience and qualifications.
Key Requirements:
- Previous administrative experience in a similar environment is desirable, but not essential.
- Excellent communication skills with a customer-centric approach.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask effectively.
- Proficiency in using office equipment, including computers and telephones.
- Demonstrated ability to work well within a team, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
- Proactive nature and a keen eye for identifying opportunities to improve office efficiency.
