We are creating an amazing opportunity for someone to work within the council whose main qualities are warmth, kindness and a desire to learn.
We are looking for someone:
- to provide a front-line customer-focused service meeting and greeting customers
- to provide and consistent and efficient front line service to our visitors to the offices
- to record and respond to queries and service requests, escalating as necessary
The successful candidate will also need to be able to self-organise, manage difficult situations and recognise when help is needed and to be able to direct and signpost to the appropriate service area.
Our main focus for this role is mainly on personal qualities rather than formal qualifications.
As part of Customer Service Team, we recognise the need to support and develop everyone to their full potential either by internal training or accessing apprenticeships.

Working hours: 37 hrs: Monday to Thursday 8:30-17:00 and Friday 8:30-16:30. We are ideally looking to offer the successful candidate the full number of hours advertised but will consider the role in a Job Share format.
