Avaliable Job Today We are a high-end salon and MediSpa based off High Street Kensington, looking for a talented receptionist/floor manager to join our expanding team. Occupying a critical front of house role, as the first and last point of contact with our valued clients, your position plays a vital role in the day-to-day running and development of our business. From answering calls to keeping our team's columns running smoothly and providing great product advice, this position is more about client and team liaison than simply admin.
What we are looking for:
- Preferably full-time, however we would consider part time for the right candidate
- Someone who is capable of marketing and upselling our products and services
- An individual who has excellent organisational and communication skills, with a positive, ‘can-do’ attitude and a passion for people along with hair and beauty
- Someone with a proactive approach to work who is capable of delivering high standards of service
Responsibilities:
Front of House:
- Taking client bookings (face-to-face, over the phone and by email)
- Upselling services, treatments and products to ensure targets are met
- Processing payments
- Re-booking clients with preferred team members and introducing them to new services
- Checking emails/on-line bookings, WhatsApp messages
Salon Logistics:
- Ensuring the salon floor runs smoothly on a day-to-day basis
- Liaising with team members and clients to ensure the salon operates on time/keeps on schedule
- Keeping the salon impeccable at all times
- Helping to deliver a ‘five-star’ service for all clients at all times
Business:
- Achieve business targets for services and retail
- Driving the salon and the business forward by promoting our services/products and up-selling
- Forward planning to ensure financial targets and business objectives are met
Attributes Required:
- Customer service orientated with excellent people skills
- Computer literate
- Experience with salon software (preferred but not essential)
- Excellent organisational skills
- A good standard of spoken and written English
- A positive ‘can-do’ attitude
