Job description
The Showroom Sales Consultant will join a very successful team and play a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service and driving sales within the showroom. You will assist customers in finding the right products, provide product information, and ensure a positive shopping experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Customer Assistance: Greet customers, understand their needs, and provide personalised assistance throughout their shopping journey. Offer product recommendations and answer any inquiries to help customers make informed purchasing decisions.
- Product Knowledge: Develop a deep understanding of the products available in the showroom. Stay up-to-date with product features, specifications, and pricing to effectively communicate information to customers.
- Sales Generation: Actively engage with customers to promote products, highlight special offers, and upsell additional items. Meet or exceed sales targets by effectively turning enquiries into sales and maximising revenue opportunities.
- Showroom Maintenance: Ensure the showroom is clean, organized, and visually appealing at all times.
- Inventory Management: Assist in monitoring and managing inventory levels.
- Customer Service Excellence: Provide exceptional customer service by addressing customer concerns, resolving complaints, and ensuring customer satisfaction. Handle customer transactions accurately and efficiently.
- Team Collaboration: Collaborate with the showroom team to achieve overall sales goals and maintain a positive working environment. Share customer feedback, sales insights, and suggestions for improving the showroom experience.
- Product Promotions: Assist in setting up and promoting product displays, seasonal campaigns, and showroom events. Actively participate in sales initiatives and contribute to the overall success of promotional activities.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Previous experience in retail sales or customer service is essential - Minimum 2 years
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to engage effectively with customers.
- Sales-driven mindset with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Attention to detail and ability to maintain a clean and organized showroom environment.
- Basic computer skills for processing sales transactions and accessing product information.
- Flexibility to work on a Saturday morning each week and one late night (Wednesday) each week. This role can accommodate Tuesday - Saturday working pattern
