Job description

We are seeking an experienced Receptionist to provide an effective, well-presented reception service ensuring a high-quality customer experience and a first point of contact for our busy estate and facilities team at our University based in Epsom.

Dealing with a variety of customers, you will have flexibility, patience and a customer focused attitude and be able to multi-task in a busy environment. You will ensure enquiries are dealt with in an efficient manner, as well as process mails and deliveries. You will therefore possess good organisational skills and assist in the coordination of key services to the site.

You will have good interpersonal skills as there will be daily contact with staff, students, and the general public. You will also be able to work on your own initiative and be flexible in your approach to work. An awareness of basic IT is essential.

The opening hours for Reception are Mondays to Fridays, 08:30 – 18.00 and you will be required to work as part of a team to cover the hours across the working week. You will be working either shift pattern alongside the other role holder.

You will be team player with a flexible approach and willingness to cover extra shifts to support during peak times or periods of leave.

Actual salary for this post is £13,494-£13,778 per annum.
